Privacy

I built Subscribed Since to be the kind of extension I'd trust myself. Minimal permissions, no server, no tracking.

Read-only YouTube scope. The extension cannot subscribe, unsubscribe, or change anything in your YouTube account.
Subscription data is stored only in your browser's local extension storage.
No analytics, no database, no custom backend. Everything is on your device.
Sign out any time to wipe the local cache and revoke the cached token.

FAQ

Which browsers are supported?: Chromium-based browsers, and Firefox.
What languages are supported?: Just English for now, with additional languages coming soon.
Does it work on every channel page?: Yes — across @handles, /channel/, /c/, and /user/ URLs, and across YouTube's current and older header layouts.
What does the tenure format mean?: If you've been subscribed for at least a year, it shows years (e.g. 4Y). Otherwise months (6M), or days (9D).
How fresh is the data?: Your subscriptions auto-refresh every 6 hours, and again shortly after you subscribe or unsubscribe. You can also manually refresh the data from the extension pop-up menu.
Is Subscribed Since open source?: Yes, it is! If you find a bug or have any ideas for improvements, feel free to open an issue or pull request on GitHub.
